Rabbit Hotel Wedding: Makenna & Nathan
I first had the pleasure of meeting Makenna and Nathan 18 months ago at a bustling wedding fair. From our first chat, I knew they were a special couple, and I was over the moon when they chose me to capture their big day!
The stunning The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat was the perfect venue for their celebration, with its gorgeous decor, ornate lighting, and magical atmosphere. It was clear why they fell in love with it—everything from the ceremony space to the reception area radiated romance.
What makes this couple’s story even more unique? The bride and her family hail from the far side of the US, but their worlds collided on an online community, where love blossomed over time.
Also, the ceremony was led by Makenna's brother Josh and took place in the venue's stunning Boat House! And after saying their vows, guests made their way to The Loft, where a delicious spread awaited them. The evening shin dig truly kicked off when DJ Magiggs took the stage, raising the roof with his high-energy set. At one point, a guest (blindfolded, of course!) went topless and swung his shirt around rodeo style, much to everyone’s delight—definitely not something you see at every wedding!
The dance floor was buzzing all night long, so I made sure to capture all those epic moments and wild dance moves before letting everyone enjoy the rest of the night!
