I’m absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news: I’ve just won my 5th Fearless Photographers award! It’s such an incredible feeling to see my work recognised alongside so many other talented photographers.
I believe photography should capture real, unscripted moments—the genuine laughter, the happy tears, and all the fun in between. My approach is all about telling the story of your wedding day exactly as it unfolds. The Champagne Spray
One of my favorite shots of last year features an epic champagne spray—and I mean really epic! In this photo, you can practically feel the energy (and maybe a few drops of bubbly) flying through the air. I love how it encapsulates that spontaneous, joyful spirit of a wedding day. It’s playful, vibrant, and completely authentic—just like Claire & Matthew, the couple who made this moment happen!

Dancing Through Bubbles
Another award-winning moment is a newlyweds Sinead & Ryan dance under a flurry of bubbles, surrounded by their excited guests. This shot always makes me smile because it highlights a simple yet magical wedding-day tradition: that first dance where you’re in your own little world—this time, quite literally in a cloud of floating bubbles. Sometimes, it’s the small details and the carefree vibes that make a wedding feel so special.

Love in the Clouds
This photo is a burst of joy as Vicky & Elliott pop open a bottle of champagne under a dreamy sky. With droplets of bubbly catching the light and clouds swirling above, it reminds me of how wedding photography can feel larger than life—yet still focused on that one intimate moment between two people in love.
In my years as a wedding photographer in Northern Ireland, I’ve learned to embrace the country’s changing weather! Wind, sunshine, and even a sprinkle of rain can help create images that are dynamic, romantic, and breathtakingly memorable.
Surprise Champagne Explosion!
Wedding mornings are always buzzing with energy, but sometimes a single moment just erupts with pure, unscripted magic – or in this case, champagne! Things were lively in the kitchen as everyone got ready, and the celebratory bottle was brought out. I had my camera ready, sensing the anticipation, but none of us expected quite this explosive pop! In that split second, chaos and laughter filled the room. Capturing this required being right there, completely immersed in the moment but also anticipating the action, ready to freeze that fleeting eruption of bubbly and equally explosive reactions. Look at their faces – pure, genuine shock and amusement! You just can't stage that kind of authenticity. It's these unpredictable, joyfully messy moments, caught in a fraction of a second, that I absolutely live to photograph, preserving the real, unfiltered story of the day.
Play Time
Sometimes the best wedding photos happen in the most unexpected places! We stumbled upon this playground, and instantly, the whole vibe shifted to pure, unadulterated fun. Forget formal poses – suddenly, it was all about who could get down the slide fastest or highest on the swings. As a photographer, moments like this are gold, but also a fantastic challenge! With so much happening at once – the bride and groom sliding, friends swinging, others giving piggybacks and cheering – my focus was on capturing the incredible energy and all those individual pockets of joy within the bigger scene. It’s about anticipating the laughter, framing the playful chaos, and freezing those split-seconds that show everyone's true personalities shining through. Seeing the whole wedding party, decked out in their finest, completely letting loose and having a blast – that’s the kind of authentic, joyful memory I absolutely love to capture.
